What a whirlwind April was! We spent the month catching-up on some fantastic cultural events that popped up in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. April took us everywhere from Coachella to the LA MOCA to see work by Nan Goldin and Diane Arbus, as well as to Hauser & Wirth to experience exceptional paintings by Louise Bourgeois. We were also thrilled to see our talented friends Melodie McDaniel, Audrey Landreth and Amelia Fleetwood come together for Melodie's Daring to Claim the Sky exhibition at Space 15 Twenty (show up until May 6th). The city has been on fire with culture and outstanding work by female artists.

The month of May is National Foster Care Month as well as the time we celebrate motherhood. Through the end of May, The Arc is continuing to support the mission of Alliance of Moms by making a 10% donation of all purchases using the code AOMTRIBE, both in-store and online.

For those unaware of this important program, Alliance of Moms is a new generation of philanthropists whose mission is to break the intergenerational cycle of babies born to teens in the foster care system.

We’re excited to announce we’ve been invited to participate in the Young Hearts of Open Hearts Malibu Event on May 6th, honoring Alliance of Moms for the work they do. Tickets are available here to support these amazing organizations and spend a lovely afternoon at the beach. We'd love to see you there!
